DeLaneau was founded 1949 in Biel, Switzerland, by Rolf and Yolanda Tschudin. We have established a tradition of creating exceptional jewellery timepieces for women. Private clients and elite collectors have cherished our outstanding craftsmanship since the beginning.
In the seventies we seek out new forms of expression while sidestepping the watchmaking conventions of the day. We create eclectic, colourful and mesmerising jewellery designs and DeLaneau earns the title “The jeweller of watches“.
Our own enamelling atelier is born. Located in the heart of Geneva, our enamellists follow the tradition of this great art form. We believe in the freedom of creativity and are committed to both preserving and to advancing the art of enamelling.
DeLaneau breaks new ground in “haute horlogerie” complications. Together with the legendary manufacturer Christophe Claret, we launch the first tourbillon complication for women. This milestone marks our commitment to Swiss mechanical movements.
DeLaneau is the first watchmaker to introduce three-dimensional dial structures. With our “Lotus” creation, we exemplify our visionary character and successfully fuse the arts and crafts of enamelling and engraving.
We introduce the unparalleled 1608 jumping hours and minutes display, which provides more space on the dial for our artisans. Meanwhile we present the novelty of enamel in volume with our «Berries and Magnolia» creations.
On our 60th anniversary we, celebrate our heritage in jewellery watchmaking with our “Delicates” creation. Moreover, the third generation of female creative directors joins our team, thus continuing the DeLaneau tradition of female creative direction.
Nestled in the city’s most pristine location, in the prestigious Rue du Rhône, our boutique guarantees our clients the luxury of privacy for one-on-one consultations. Appointments are made upon your request.
We once again demonstrate our extensive experience in miniature enamel painting with our “Time to be 2” creation. Featuring mirror images in Grand Feu enamel, we provide couples with exquisite paired timepieces paying homage to their union.
With our independent and unique appearance at BASELWORLD, we underline our special dedication to the outstanding craftsmanship of our artisans.
